So the progression of my brothers painting is complete if you would like to check it out on the progressions page. The painting that Liam suggested is turning out to be really fun. Below is a panorama that I took on Tybee Island on the morning of my brothers wedding. It was so beautiful there!

Well I went to my brothers wedding this past weekend and rode in a car with my entire family for endless hours. The wedding was beautiful but I certainly missed art-ing. Below is a painting that I started tonight. my son Liam said I should paint light bulbs, letters, and color tabs. Brilliant!
Well the portrait is finished and my Aunt Sheilah (pictured with me at a family affair) was only hesitantly weirded out by it. Hopefully the groom and bride feel the same.
Next, Suffragette needs some T.L.C. And finally,a layered portrait because I miss layers! Well, the portrait I've been working on has gone through various stages of strange. It is on its way to normality, hopefully. I have four evenings left to work on it before I leave for my brothers wedding.
Well, apparently there was a tragic gasoline fight accident at the antelope club so they won't be open this Friday when I was supposed to show some work... or it was an electrical fire, something like that. Anyway, hopefully the next Viva Salon will be a go in February. Third time's the charm right?
All Art Must Die is done and hanging. I am now onto the portrait of my brother, his fiancé, and their dog. Diversity. The Portrait has to be done in ten nights counting tonight. Aaah!
Beyond that, I am going to be participating in another IDADA first Friday this coming week at the Antelope Club in Indianapolis for one evening only. Une Galarie Fugace (a fleeting gallery) The Antelope Club 615 N.Delaware St., Indy January 8th 6-10 PM |
