This was made for my awesome cousin who was super supportive and bought two tickets to the raw art show even though she lives too far away to actually have gone.
The RAW show at the old national centre was a great success! Several pieces were sold. They are all going to be transitioning from the "For Sale" page to the "Sold" page with the name of their new owner in the caption. I am pretty confident that they all found good homes! 
These are my latest little creations. They are 3.5 x 5 inches and painted in watercolor. I'm thinking about creating lots of them and then "quilting" (collaging) them into a grander piece of art as an homage to quilts. For those of you who don't know, quilts helped women gain the right to vote. Many women wouldn't have been able to attend suffragette meetings, but many were able to "quilt" with their friends. If the topic of conversation turned to voting rights, so be it. |
