Album Art

 My painting Dark Light was used as the cover art for a local indie rock band The Lady Presidents album art.   You can listen to their music here.  I dig it.

Consumption is getting large.  I've sewn half of it entirely!  It is too heavy to hang without a rod to disperse the weight evenly so she's grounded for now.  Note on the bottom right is the third section, waiting to get some extra stitches to strengthen it.  

I work on Nike this past week too.  I have decided to abandon the gridded image that I usually try my hardest to reproduce exactly.  I wanted to add more textures and vibrant colors so I am just improvising as I go.  I have to say, it is a LOT more fun.  We shall see how it turns out.
