Next, the finishing touches.

Click the button below to see the daily progress of All Art Must Die (above) and Suffragette ​(below).    All Art Must Die is nearly finished.  I am just working my way backwards making sure all of the details and lines are accurate.  

Progressions

Suffragette has all 60 canvases completed now.  I am going to start working on the overall composition.  Each 12 x 12 in. canvas has two black edges and two white edges to emphasize the two halves.  When hanging the pieces I make sure that the edge matches the edge beside it, which creates the diagonal pattern you see above.  I have some great students that I am going to have take turns arranging it to see which composition is the strongest.  

Two new canvases are stretched.  I'm thinking of tackling a self portrait and a still life.  
They will have to be weirdly layered with imagery of course.
