There is a call for art to celebrate the 100th anniversary of women gaining the right to vote in Indiana, where I live, work, and vote. I am super excited to submit something, Lately I've been working large by putting together several canvases. Shipping and transporting are MUCH easier and the work fits with the ideas that I've used it for, namely quilting and the Fibonacci sequence. But I've run into a problem with this as well. When I build canvases, they are usually ever so slightly askew, which doesn't matter, unless your butting it up to other canvases like I am now. So I think I am going to build the painting boards that I will use for the Suffrage piece that I'm doing next. I've got to figure out the imagery before I build them, but when I do, I will document it here so you can see what an awesome carpenter I am... That is 100% sarcasm. Wish me luck. Back to painting, drinking tea and listening to terrible music. G'night! Theorem in progress.
